Message-ID: <488@rna.UUCP> Date: Tue, 29-Apr-86 20:47:09 EDT Article-I.D.: rna.488 Posted: Tue Apr 29 20:47:09 1986 Date-Received: Fri, 2-May-86 21:30:49 EDT Organization: Rockefeller Neurobiology Lines: 26 x I have a 20Mb disk on a Leading Edge M computer. I have tried backing up the hard disk with: backup c: a:/s (MSDOS 2.1) and the process starts fine, copying files for a while, UNTIL a particular directory (I have a number of subdirectories). In that directory, file are copied for a while and then the program stops cold. I need to reboot to get back. The floppy access light just stays on. Any ideas ? I have tried to rearrange that particular directory, delete the files it stops at, etc, to no avail. I am not sure the problem is due to that particular directory. Thanks. Cheers, Dan Ts'o Dept.
