Dyer Computer Consulting, Cambridge MA Lines: 12 Keywords: HDLC, SDLC, X.25, others Xref: linus net.micro.pc:7784 net.dcom:1656 I'm looking for a PC card which could be used for high-speed (9600 baud or greater) point to point communication with a VAX or MicroVAX. Probably most important is full duplex DMA capability; I'm willing to give up a reliable link layer on-board if necessary. I looked briefly at the IBM SDLC communications board, but it seems to support half-duplex only, which is a shame. Gateway Communications makes an X.25 card, but it's also extremely expensive (> $2K.) Does anyone have any recommendations? -- Steve Dyer dyer@harvard.HARVARD.EDU {linus,wanginst,bbncca,bbnccv,harvard,ima,ihnp4}!spdcc!dyer
