I imagine this will work but am not totally certain... Initialize both COM ports identically with a program such as MODE or Kermit. Then connect them together in parallel with a custom made cable. Pin 1 of one port should be connected to pin 1 of the other. Same goes for all the other pins you use, which are 2, 3, 7, and perhaps 6 and 20.
