The best place to get acurate and complete info on the 8259 is in Intel's
Microsystem Components Handbook.  You want to check in volume 1 section 2	
pages 89 (data sheets) and 118 (application notes).  This is in the 1985
edition which is what I have, yours may differ.  You can probably get these
books out of your office's library, otherwise your local Intel dealer is
usualy happd to give these away.  Hope that was of some help
