The main Harvard gateway machine 'harvard' will be replaced by a sun
workstation one-tenth its size on Monday, June 2nd.  It is expected 
that the machine will be down from Thursday, May 29 until Monday afternoon,
but anything could happen.

It would be good to avoid unnecessary traffic through the machine during
these times (and probably for a few days afterwards).
