I have long been under the impression that some dealers/vendors/suppliers recycle such ribbon cartridges, reusing at least the plastic housings and some of the internal parts, and that these give a credit on turned-in used-up ribbon cartridges. However, I must admit to never having seen anything in print that actually stated such a policy from any vendor. The suppliers that send us dozens of copies of glossy catalogs of computer supplies don't mention this (as far as I have noticed). Does anyone out there know of vendors that actually do this? How much credit do they give on a turned-in cartridge? Regards, Will Martin UUCP/USENET: seismo!brl-smoke!wmartin or ARPA/MILNET: wmartin@almsa-1.ARPA
