Seems the Providence & Worcester dropped the old Ayer secondary line that goes from Worcester to Ayer,Mass. GP9 #1711 has been assigned duty at the yards. I also noticed that ST has been doing a lot of local business in Worcester, and makes the trip from Worcester <--> Clinton <--> Ayer, about 3 times a week. Wonder how this is affecting the P&W's operations ?
