This morning's local had a neat mix of power. Usually the
peninsula branch gets secondary power such as rebuilt GP9's,
SD9's, and other low horsepower units. But today there was a
GP40-SW1500-SD9 combo to power 46 cars (including 25 gravel
loads). It's easy to tell when there's an SW1500 in a consist--
they have a flat, hammering sound to them.
