I am having trouble getting MicroEmacs to run on ultrix.

The first call to getenv, the one in ttinit (tty.c) works fine.
The second call to getenv, the one in ttopen (ttyio.c) fails, the message
"Environment variable TERM not set", or something like that, is output, and the
program exits (leaving the terminal in an awful state because the old control
characters are not restored).

Any ideas?
