Does anyone know of a way to include bitmaps within a ditroff source
file, such that the bitmap will appear (magically) in the output at
a user specifiable location within the page?  Specifically, I would
like the ability to somehow include DMD twid bitmaps in ditroff source. 
A solution using some sort of preprocessor (similar to eqn/grap/pic/tbl)
would be nice, but a postprocessor which could munge impress output
would not be out of the question.
