A terminal connected to the mux works fine but tip does not evoke the proper respose - I believe tip is set correctly to pass a break (\b in setup line) but it seems a terminal just drops xmt low when break is pressed whereas tip sends an ascii null character with stop bits. question: am i missing something in tip that allows a truly literal passthru of break? Is there another way eg:kermit (same problem initially)? any & all replies appreciated hurf sheldon plasma studies cornell univ hurf@ionvax.tn.cornell.edu .
