Driver for VERSATEC plotter under ultrix  or 4.2BSD

Versatec Versaplot software for driving an electrostatic plotter is 
available in a universal form, Universal Versaplot 9 and Universal 
Versaplot Color Random, written in Fortran-77. It is supplied with 
instructions how to write a driver in general.

Has anybody out on the net ported this software to ultrix or 4.2BSD ?

Has anybody any experience driving a large Versatec plotter, say 42 inches,
from a MicroVAX ?
