We use FORTRAN 77 on machines ranging from micros to supercomputers. Anyone knowing of a reasonable suite please contact me at one of the addresses given below. (In order to not rule out any suite, let's pretend that my department has an unlimited budget--wouldn't that be great!) ----------------------------------------------- Greg Flint @ Purdue University Computing Center UUCP: purdue!pucc-i!gdf Math G-185 -or- purdue!gdf Purdue University -or- pur-ee!gdf West Lafayette, IN 47907 ARPA: gdf@asc.purdue.edu (317) 494-1787 -or- gdf@ee.purdue.edu BITNET: FLINT@PURCCVM [I know of two Fortran 66 suites, the Navy suite which is pretty easy to pass and the NBS suite which is pretty hard to pass unless you really implement everything in F66 correctly. Both are available from the NTIS for a tape handling fee of about $100. I haven't seen any F77 suites, but I haven't been looking recently -John] -- Send compilers mail to ima!compilers or, in a pinch to Levine@YALE.EDU Plausible paths are { ihnp4 | decvax | cbosgd | harvard | yale | bbncca}!ima Please send responses to the originator of the message -- I cannot forward mail accidentally sent back to compilers.
