GNU Emacs comes pre-hacked for the Apollos. The major problem is that you can't dump a version with the Lisp pre-loaded because of Apollo's brain-damaged memory management. Brain-damaged? That's a serious accusation. Scott is wrong about this. It's GNU Emacs's set of assumptions about memory management that is brain-damaged. There is nothing wrong with Apollo's memory management.
