Subject: Public domain replacement for soelim?


Is there a public domain equivalent to soelim (a standard Berkeley Unix
tool)? We have an application that requires shipping nroff/troff source from
a VMS VAX to a Sun-3 for remote execution and need to remove the VMS file
dependencies prior to shipping the file to the Sun. We have written a
simple-minded version, but it knows nothing about macros, .if's, etc. Any
help would be appreciated. Please respond to me directly as I do not read
either info-vax or info-unix.
