I've always been able to just DO IT AGAIN, but this causes me stress which I don't need. We reserve 3 hours a week for system maintaince, so that's when I do my INSTALlations. The above applies to layered products. For VMS updates, the system is always rebooted (or has been in the past), so why let users on only to be rudely kicked off at the end of (or during) the update?
