Has anybody done such analysis or know of any reference? The kind of questions I have are: What is your VAXcluster configuration? Which version of VMS? What is the loading behavior of each CPU? What is the I/O behavior of each HSC, disk? What is the performance of the CI interconnect such as: the bandwidth utilization? the average packet size? % of file access on local/HSC/another CPU? any major bottle-neck or area of concern? What is the reliability of the CI, the distributed VMS? Are you satisfied with the amount of security provided? I would really appreciate your response, and thank you in advance.
