We are planning to buy a workstation to replace our tired
HP1000-based image processing system.  We need to interface a
Hamamatsu frame buffer and a lexidata image processor to the new
computer.  The principal computers being looked at now are Sun III
and Micro-Vax II, but we are open to suggestions.

Does anybody have experience interfacing this equipment to the
computers I mentioned, or to any similar Unix workstation?  Please
reply to me directly, since this is rather a special interest to
burden the net with.
