(I finally got a manual, but its not clear) Are there two programs available, called DDP & IP? DDP would encapsulate Appletalk DDP packets into UDP packets that are standard on Ethernet. IP would just foward them to the ethernet. Which one does the Multiple Appletalks with an Ethernet Backbone work under? Can one Appletalk net be an internet (multiple Appletalks directly connected?) Under the Ethernet Backbone, do packets reach other Appletalks automatically and will all routing function automatically? Can there be other devices on the Backbone which can recognize Appletalk protocols and respond? How are these treated, routed? Which configuration does the K-Talk Library run under? Is it reasonaly straightfoward to use? And more like this..... Thanks. ------------------- Nexus -------------------- -Rob Wald (PUCC User Services) BITNET: 6090617@PUCC UUCP: ...ALLEGRA!PSUVAX1!PUCC.BITNET!6090617 "Behold, I teach you the Superman!
