    I like the idea of the "multiplexing port".  Consider this one
    vote for it.

well, so do I.  However, for it to be a workable solution, there has to
be some commitment that it won't be a member of the large `ignored RFC'
collection.  I think that we need a registry to tide us over in the
interim.
