In a few articles, I have seen a few statements about R/W CDs. Knowing
a little about CDs and their bit formats, I would tend to think this
unlikely. Converting an eight bit word to a fourteen bit pattern to
make the most of the pit/plateau organization (EFM (8-14 mod'n)), being
able to write this out using a high powered laser-blaster, etc, etc,
I doubt that this is possible at all.
