Franz  Incorporated,  the  comemrcial  supplier  of  Franz  Lisp,
provides a Flavors Package  derived  from  (Rich  Zippel's)  Lisp
Machine   flavors.   The  manual  provided  with  Franz  Opus  42
describes the routines in detail.   We  are  happily  using  Opus
42.16.3 with flavors.

I  believe  Fritz  Kunze  (Franz  Inc.)  is  still taking mail at
franz!fkunze@ucbvax.berkeley.edu, but cannot swear  to  it.   Tha

The  commercial  version  is  much  improved  over the Univeristy
version (Opus 38 and earlier), and I have been pretty happy  with
the support.  I see by their advertisements that the company does
Franz  Lisp  and  Extended  Common Lisp Ports for new machines as
well, so you might want to talk with them.
