I'm a member of the Modula-2 Working Group of the British Standards Institution. The M2WG has been looking at the standardisation of Modula-2 since November 1984. The aim is to produce a draft of a standard sometime later this year. The M2WG issues quite a large number of working papers. These are available either on an individual basis or by subscription from Richard Karpinski, 6521 Raymond Street, Oakland, CA 94609. Phone: (415) 666-4529 or 658-3797. It appears 4 times a year. For membership of MODUS, contact: George Symons, MODUS, PO Box 51778, Palo Alto, CA 94303. Phone: (415) 322-0547. The M2WG will be holding an Open Meeting in London on 24th July 1986. If you send me a reply acknowledging receipt of this message then I'll send you further details of this meeting and of the standardisation work. == Barry Cornelius == Address: Department of Computer Science, University of Durham, Durham, DH1 3LE, England Telephone: Durham (0385 or +44 385) 64971 extension 792 Electronic Mail Addresses: Barry_Cornelius%DURHAM.MAILNET@MIT-MULTICS.ARPA Barry_Cornelius@uk.ac.durham.mts bjc@uk.ac.nott.cs
