I am teaching a logic course in the fall in a cluster with a philosophy
of science and a finite math course.  When we did this last year we used
a public domain version of PROLOG for PCs from ADA for various purposes
in all of the courses, and it kind of tied them together.  This next fall
we are interested in using a version of PROLOG that will run on a VAX
(under VMS) or a PRIME for various reasons, including access and
class communications.  I would very much appreciate suggestions of where/
how to get a C&M standard PROLOG (cheap) for such a purpose.  It does not
have to be too sophisticated.  Incidentally, for what seems to me to be
largely political reasons, our computing center does not support UNIX
(though they are finally beginning to come to their senses, maybe, it
surely will not be in time).  But there is the possibility of running
under EUNICE under VMS, though I would rather not so as to not confuse
the students too much.  Please mail responses, and remember that I am
not very knowledgable about what exists.  Thanks in advance.
