I need to be able to get a large Sperry mainframe to talk to a number 
of smaller systems. These might be PCs running MSDOS DEC 8400s running 
VMS and a couple of small UNIX boxes.

We have a number of dedicated phones lines as the distance between 
systems would be 200-300 Km apart.

The real problem is getting the Sperry to talk serial.
