I don't have the spec in front of me at the moment, but as I recall several of the "other 14" are spec'd as GND, one is the 7M clock (which must be "synthesized" from two of the 86 pin signals), a couple more have specified uses within the expansion box (BE* ?). I believe that only three of the 14 are available for other uses ... something like RES6, RES7, and RES8 (though I may not have the signal names quite right).
