What text editing programs are available for STs? He is a writer and needs to be able to produce large documents easily. He is not, and does not intend to become a programmer. My question is how much editing and formatting software is already available? He would like an EMACS like editor and a SCRIBE like formatter. The editor should support multiple windows and buffers. It should use ASCII text, and not insert any funny characters for its own purposes. I use Micro-Emacs on a micro, and we have EMACS on our VAX. He would like something similar on whatever computer he finally buys. How about ST users, is there a strong enough software base yet for him to be satisfied? RDROYA01@ULKYVX.BITNET
