As I was told by the author, there is a bug in GEM-Kermit 1.1.
REAL binary transfer (definitely non ASCII) does not work. Transfer
of ASCII-Files in binary-mode does work.

This bug is fixed with GEM-Kermit 1.2.
I'll post an uuencoded GEM-Kermit 1.2 to net.micro.at16, soon.
