I am somewhat new to the Atari world of computing.  I
I got an 800XL awhile back and have been getting more
and more interested in paying around with it.  I have 
been pretty impressed so far, but I have several questions.

1) What kind of languages are available?  Are any of them
in the public domain (i.e. cheap or free)?

2) What is ACTION! ? [sic]  I have seen several articles
posted about sources in this language ( I guess its a lang).

3) What's the best source for info ? (Where should I have
looked instead of posting questions ?)

4) How hard is it to connect a modem to the 800 ?   How much
am I going to have to pay to do it right ?

5) Has anyone tried to type in the program for a Sound
Development Package listed in COMPUTE! (July 1986, pp. 69-75) ?
I got the first program in OK (I think).  But there seems to be
an error in line 20.  Line 20 = "GOTO 3020", but there is no line
numbered 3020.  Am I missing something ? or is the program missing
it?
