If you are lucky enough to be working for a company whose Sales and Marketing departments, let alone the boys who write the advertising copy, actually talk to the development organizations then you are extremely fortunate and should stay there. On the positive side of advertising, I trust you have all noticed the recent crop of adverts showing a unix pc and a Merlin phone in the press.
