EVERYTHING that gets typed while on the remote vax is being acumulated in a "standard file" with no name. Evidently, this is because in the auto-logon definition, we didn't give a name for a file. What would be really nice would be not to have this garbage transcript stored at all. Does anybody know how to shut off this recording? Is there something like a "/dev/null" specification we could use that the System V PC would understand ? Thanks, Mark Goldfain (goldfain@uiucdcsb.CS.UIUC.EDU)
