One I use is the C.itoh F10-40 serial printer, it can be hooked up directly to the serial output on the back of your computer (C64). If you have Commodore 64 programer's reference guide handy look on page 396 at the serial I/O pinout. Pins 1 thru 5 are all the pins required to have a F10-40 up and running like clock work.
