I would like to retract the statement I made earlier about the Mac+ sound
driver.  Although it's not much of an excuse in retrospect, I apparently
had the misfortune of coming across the few sound programs in my possession
that don't work properly on the MacPlus soon after reading a message on a
bboard that complained about all sorts of sound routines not working anymore.
Upon re-reading that message (and subsequent ones), it appears the complaints
were about sound routines written for a particular language implementation.
And I've since run a whole bunch of sound programs that appear to work fine.
Open mouth, insert foot.  My apologies to Apple and to the net.
