You can get mini-8 to db-9 cables for $19 from MacConnection (1-800-MAC-LISA).
I called them on a Wednesday afternoon and had the cables in hand on Friday.
I am told that you can get the same kind of cable from $17 from BMUG (the
Berkeley Mac Users Group).
