But a report here on the net says that there is a bug, Apple has acknowledged it (the reporter says), and has no intention of fixing it. Description of bug: If the first key you type (after?, during) reboot is on the regular keyboard OK. If it is on the keypad, the key goes into auto repeat forever, reboot necessary. I can't say if this is true or false, I don't think this particular sequence is something I do. My advice, for what it is worth: "Don't worry about this bug too much. If there is such a bug you can easily modify your habits to avoid the circumstances." I use my Mac daily, lately with: 128K ROM System 3.2 Finder 5.3 MacTerminal (To CMS thru 7171, see I do use the keypad) Previously with: 128K ROM System 3.1 Finder 5.2 MacTerminal I love my 128K ROM/800K Disk (Much faster)!!!! -- Jim Budler Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.
