Rainier Message-ID: <2224@peora.UUCP> Date: Mon, 30-Jun-86 22:44:05 EDT Article-I.D.: peora.2224 Posted: Mon Jun 30 22:44:05 1986 Date-Received: Wed, 2-Jul-86 05:05:13 EDT Organization: Concurrent Computer Corporation, Orlando, Fl Lines: 12 For a truly interesting experience, take off from Seattle, fly up fairly high, and then try running into Mt. Rainier just below the snow (which for some reason is black instead of white, incidentally). Try to be flying fairly level when you collide with the mountain. It truly defies simple description, especially if you are flying level enough that you can see the sky above you when you run into the mountain. For an even more interesting experience, try running into it from the other side, near the base of the mountain. It's even more amazing, but harder to do. -- E. Roskos
