Slightly intrigued, I decided to see what it was. I read the enclosed instruction manual and found to my delight that Polywindows was a memory resident ( like Sidekick from Borland ) utility package. Polywindows has an editor ( a wonderfully easy to use and fast one no less ), a calculator, a notecard utility, a dialer, a calendar with appointment book, an alarm clock, a directory lister ( i.e. DIR ), and many other good things. It also gives you the option of which of these utilities you want to install. I opened up Polywindows and I was using it the first day. It increased my efficiency on the PC by at least 50%. It's that good. My only complaint about Polywindows is that it takes up a bit of memory ( 10K for each included utility - approximately ). However having the new Quadboard, this is no problem. I'm also running it on a 256K machine and it works fine there as well. Watch out Borland these guys are good. Joe Hong CS undergrad Princeton Univ.
