The first was a STB Grande Byte. It would not boot consistantly at any speed greater than 7.5Mhz, even using 100ns chips. I replaced this w/an AST Advantage! board, equipped with the daughter board (Advantage Pak! it's called). This combination boots fine at 9Mhz (determined by putting in an 18Mhz crystal).I curently run w/a Mhz Corp. TurboSwitch II set for 9.5Mhz and have had no problem w/AST board. By the way, this board is running at these speeds w/120ns chips. Hope this helps. Max S.
