Well, for starters, the Queen is "Queen of Canada", and that's good enough for me. Be that as it may, I think the Commonwealth is not only a very valuable link with our history, but a useful forum for communication between developed and developing nations, current problems notwithstanding. We have little enough history or national identity in this country as it is.
