Several of us in Dallas have been told that it can be done but the icon editor won't let us do it. This is for a serious application not just for curiousity's sake. One more and I'll go: What really happens when a file is `delete'd??? Is it possible to maintain a file on a disk with two separate and distinct filename entries, sorta like UNIX's `ln'? Our concern is with the disk's block allocation bit-map; when do this get modified? C= and C-A, can you folks help us? We'd appreciate it!!! -Rusty- ================================================================ *hardcopy* *electr{onic, ic}* Rusty Haddock ARPA: Haddock%TI-CSL@CSNET-RELAY.ARPA POB 226015 M/S 238 CSNET: Haddock@TI-CSL Texas Instruments Inc.
