A lot of people are sending mail in response to mod.compilers to me
rather than to the actual authors of the messages.  The author's name
is always in the Reply-To: line in each message.  Please check when you
press the 'r' key.  I cannot forward all of this mail, and often the
return address is mangled enough that I can't even return it.

At some point, I'll bring up a version of news modern enough that it sets
the news headers to point back to the original author, but in the meantime
your mail will be answered a lot better if you address it correctly.
