(DEC is surprised at the demand, they are trying to catch up on production) 2) In a configuration where you have -------ethernet backbone----H4005------------- | DELNI | DEMPR the max length of the ethernet segment where this combination hangs is 300 meters (not 500m), and you can NOT have a DEREP on the same segment this is due to propagation delays through the DELNI. 3) there is an ECO out for DEQNAs, I am not sure if this is the same one mentioned on the net a few weeks ago. the ECO fixes 2 bugs, one where the board locks up under HEAVY ethernet traffic (7 to 8 Mbits/sec) and the network disappears from the uVAX II. Another symptom is lost data packet, this is software recoverable. 4) free Volume shadow is extended indefinitely...(was supposed to end Jun 30). -- Portia Bjorndahl UUCP -- {allegra|ihnp4}!scgvaxd!engvax!portia Hughes Aircraft Co.
