    The spped of computer technology is wrenching society away from
    its natural rhtthms, much like jet lag, Mr. Rifkin says.
    "Psychologists across the nation are dealing with time
    disorientation of computer hackers," he maintains.  "They're
    impatient, intolerant and can't accept 'organic' time."

  The opposite complaint would be more accurate.  Once more, Rifkin
proves himself completely ignorant in yet another field.  How does he
attract followers?
