At one time we will have in one room over 100 different TCP/IP implementation teams. WE can discuss not just the technical issues of the best way to cope with our bretheren in the ISO world, but how to make changes that are not disastrously disruptive to the customers in the field. (The most recent problem has been with subnetting and how it gets incorporated smoothly in the field. With over 100 different vendors it is impossible to coordinate release dates for protocol upgrades.) Meanwhile, perhaps some readers of this list have some experience running ISO IP as well as DoD IP on the same Ethernet and can reveal how they have dealt with it thus far. Dan -------
