Hinton on implementing a Production System on a neural network (although this still contains some learning in order to load production rules), but have been unsuccessful in finding other work. There seems to be a lot of work on getting these networks to learn but none on being able programming them directly. Is it possible to program the network with some desired function ? Can anyone help ? Andrew Smith. (uucp: ..!seismo!mcvax!ukc!kcl-cs!andrew)
