          A friend of mine is interested in any equipment that can digitize
a printed page - text and/or illustrations.  Resolution must be quite high,
almost photocopier quality.  Something like a FAX machine would probably work,
but it should have some sort of computer compatible interface.

So, does anyone know of such a beast?  Does anyone know if a FAX machine
could be adapted?  Prices?  Any info would be appreciated.
