Don't pay over $12 for domestic CDs and $14 for imports. Wait--you've got to be patient. Hit the $10.99 sales at local record shops, especially the chain ones who don't know much about CDs, except that they sell them. I've gotten lots of ridiculous $18.99 imports at the sale price. For instance the Odyssey (mostly video and cheap plastic dayglo trash) in Los Angeles indescriminatly marked a bunch of their CD's down to $8.99. I guess they needed more room for cheap dayglo trash or something. Sales clerk in Tower Records in Washington, D.C. looking at DK's CD: Is this jazz? Me: Sure...
