I've found it desirable to move the 2.9 routing tables out of kernel
space.  I'm reasonably confident of these fixes: they've been running
for about two weeks now with no problems.  You get about 180 routing
table entries in the external space.

If anyone wants these fixes, send me mail.  If there's enough interest,
I'll post 'em to the net.
