This is a two part technical article for those of you who are tired of the "helmet law pissing contests". I have an 82 Yamaha 750 Seca with K&N Filterchargers and a Kerker KR header. First, I want to know if anyone knows where i can get richer jets for the Hitachi carburetors. (I'm sure they'd be cheaper than the typical $100 jet kit, if i can get them.) Also has anyone out there installed a jet kit in this bike? How well do they work? Will I get better throttle response, get rid of flat spots ..etc? Secondly, my pipe is showing signs of surface rust and i want to repaint it black. How should I prepare the pipe and what kind of paint should I use? Thanks in advance....
