References are the database books by Chris Date (4th edition of Intro to
Databases), Korth and Silberschatz (Database System Concepts), and
Jeff Ullman (Principles of Database Systems).

A draft ANSI SQL standard may be found in a back issue of SIGMOD Record
(ACM) published sometime in 1985.
